Graphics

I have a few things to offer in the graphics department.  While I’m not a graphic designer, I can provide you with a basic logo and icon for your website.  I always recommend working with a graphic designer to create a custom logo, but if that’s not in your budget I am happy to help.

For other graphical elements, such as stock photos, buttons, banners, icons and graphics I have my own account with a stock photo provider with thousands of options to choose from to customize your site for a unique and professional look.

For true professional logo design and custom graphics, I am happy to recommend a graphic designer I’ve worked with many times in the past.

Photography

I have a Fuji X-E1 mirrorless digital camera with an 18-55mm lens and a macro lens for very close up shots.  Most of my experience is in product photography. I have a professional light box for this purpose and I’m fairly proficient at photoshop. I can also take photos for your site that might be needed such as head shots, photos of your store or shop, client interactions, etc.  I am by no means a professional photographer but if hiring a professional is out of your budget, or you just need a few extra photos for the site, I’m able to help.  Check out my gallery to see some examples of my work.

SEO

Search Engine Optimization is the term used for getting search engines to find and rank your site higher than other sites.  Many think that all they need is a few key words in the right place, but it’s much more detailed than that.  Google Analytics, Web Developer Tools, plugins, social media shares, blogs, links to your page, all of these and more factor into how Google and other search engines find your site.  I use good SEO practices while designing your website that allow google to find your site easier and for those who want to invest more in this area I collaborate with online marketing specialists to help your business grow.

E-Commerce

I have been managing and updating an e-commerce site since 2010.  In 2013 I did a complete redo of that website and store, switching from Shopp to Woocomerce.  I also have a lot of experience using Cart66 basic and Cart66 cloud.

Other e-commerce experience:

– A yoga festival site that took payments and had a payment plan option.

– A yoga retreat website with various purchase options.

– A yoga teacher websit to purchase consultations.

– Two small bookstore websites.
